Ambassador Action

Thanks to those of you who requested our new postcards.  You have certainly been innovative in finding a variety of ways to distribute these such as at the upcoming South West Office Show on 20th October; Derby Fairtrade City events; and at Reading University.  Others of you have also been in contact with local shops to ask if these postcards can be placed on the counter or put into the bags or packs which are sent to customers.  Some of you have even requested for postcards to simply carry on your person, should you find the opportunity to talk to someone about Shared Interest.

This is a great start to our new marketing campaign and will enable members of the public to simply take away these postcards and request further information from us.  We still have many more postcards left and hopefully these examples will give you some inspiration as to where these could be distributed in your local area.  If you would like to request some more postcards please email or write to me and provide me with details of where you intend to distribute these.

This month I would like you to join in our effort by promoting the ambassador training and member’s events to friends, colleagues, businesses etc in your local area.  This can be done in a variety of forms, such as word of mouth, email, letter, or you can even request some A3 posters which you can hang in your workplace, community centre or university.  These posters will have all of the relevant information of the event on them.

Whether you know someone who would be interested in becoming an ambassador or a member, the day is sure to be informative and enjoyable.   Please provide me with the contact details of any confirmed guests you have (preferably their email address) and I will forward them the event details and directions to the venue.
