Staff Fairtrade Fortnight activities

In addition to all of the external events that Shared Interest Society has organised and attended in Fairtrade Fortnight, staff inside the office are also doing their bit.  We have so far hijacked our building reception area and decorated it with Fairtrade leaflets and information to help spread the word about Fairtrade Fortnight. Some staff have agreed to try out some recipes using fair trade ingredients for the office to sample including Millionaire shortbread and banana bread and we will also be arranging to take fair trade coffee and biscuits around to the neighbouring businesses to give them a taste of how good fair trade coffee is. While I am happy to do my bit for fair trade I draw the line at wearing the chilli costume which the Marketing Manager suggested would make a good photo to go with this blog. I will leave the dressing up to our Membership Development Coordinator who obviously quite enjoyed her photo shoot dressed as a fair trade banana.
