Fairtrade Fortnight Challenges I
Tracy Mitchell is a Shared Interest ambassador and the views expressed herein are her own and do not necessarily represent the views of Shared Interest Society.
As Fairtrade Fortnight approaches, I thought now was a good time to draft my first blog! Inspired by the Member Challenge list, I have written out my cheque for an increase in my account for each day of Fairtrade Fortnight. That’s the easy one done but what about the other challenges?
Well I am not planning a coffee morning but I did spend part of this morning planning our church fair trade breakfast which takes place this Saturday. We will have lots of fair trade foods for folks to eat as well as a Traidcraft stall, a stall from Comfort Rwanda and one from Tearcraft. There will also be lots of fair trade information available –including of course copies of the latest Shared Interest flyers. I hope that we will also be able to show some short video clips – just working on the technology for that including downloading the Shared Interest promotional clips from YouTube. I’ll let you know early next week how the event goes…..
Next, had better plan for the Shared Interest Ambassador talk I am giving at a church in Falkirk on Sunday……
Oh and I forgot to mention the sticker is up in a window at the front of our house.
So that’s two down, and two in progress …….
