I am delighted to be able to inform you that we have been successful in our search for a new Regional Development Executive (RDE) to be based in Lima, Peru. His name is Paul Sablich and he comes from a financial/key account background, is highly socially-motivated and speaks excellent English.
He will start with SI on 1 March 2009 and it is envisaged that he will be in the UK during his first month attending Fairtrade Fortnight, the AGM, getting to know the team and learning his new role.
I know you will all join me in welcoming Paul to the SI team in the New Year.

Dear all,
I am very glad for this kindest welcome to the team of Shared Interest.
I had the opportunity to meet Patricia, Elisabeth and Hugo in Peru. It let me know the importance of our job in developing quality of life, particularly with disadvantaged communities, through our financial services in the fair trade business. I am excited to start doing it!
In this way, I have much to learn from all of you and I would be pleased if you could orient me during the following months in order to get involved with the business in the best possible way.
I look forward to meeting all the team personally in the UK during March next year.
